Meet the Students
Lilah Gow (she/her)
Lilah has been deeply moved and intertwined with Conscious Connected Breathwork for the last 7 years, originally doing our Breathwork course for self-development in 2016. Lilah has returned to refine and embody her learnings even more to move into the space of a practitioner. With a deep love for movement/dance and using breath to ignite the possibilities of expressions of feelings and emotions in creative practices and body awareness. Lilah is looking forward to having the honour of holding space as a Breathwork Practitioner for others and letting the next chapter unfold of how she can serve herself and the community in the most sustainable ways and continue to evolve as a person and practitioner.

Amanda Keast (she/her)
As a child Amanda displayed an avid interest in nature. Often she would wistfully search for “proof of magic” outdoors; convinced if she sat still for long enough a mouse would scurry by wearing tiny garments, carrying a briefcase!
Her curiosities led her to study Veterinary Medicine where she drank greedily from the cup of natural science. She practised as a veterinarian in Australia and abroad for 17 years before discovering conscious connected breathing. Her early personal sessions whispered words she wasn’t aware she’d been seeking and desperately needed to hear, which led to a dramatic and wonderful change in her perception of life and its trajectory.
Amanda acknowledges there is a lot she still does not know about conscious connected breathing! However she feels wholly confident the method can be a potent catalyst for change and self-reclamation and feels excited and grateful to support others who share her curiosity.
Breathwork aside, Amanda adores Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and her enthusiastic 12-year old named Kit, who is keenly aware and keeps her honest. If he perceives she's irritable, the first question he poses is: “Mum, have you breathed yet this week?!”.
