Celebrating over 20 years of Birth Doula Experience
Your Trainer Mirabai Rose brings 20 years of Doula experience, Childbirth Education as well as Breathwork Therapy to the development and delivery of Professional Doula Trainings. Successful completion of the Doula Training (assessment based) provides graduates with a Certificate of Doula Training under the International Institute of Complimentary Therapies (IICT), including access to doula insurance.
We offer a comprehensive intensive training that has you working in pregnancy and birth sooner.
We offer both online (in your own time) and in-person training, so that you can choose a path that suits your needs.
Importantly, you will achieve a level of personal and professional competency to enter directly into the Doula (pregnancy and birth support) service.
We are committed to diversifying birth support in Australia and abroad. Sponsorships may available for those who identify as LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and displaced peoples. Please ask!
WHAT IS INCLUDED INTO THE DOULA TRAINING?
The Birth Yurt Training provides for foundational Birth Doula studies. It does not include post natal Doula work (except for the initial post natal period). There is an optional advanced training and retreats for those Doulas interested in furthering their own inner work, or deepening their work with pregnant and birthing people. Private appointments are also available.

This training is as much about you as it is about supporting others - birthing you as a Doula in order for you to support families consciously, with confidence, calm, respect and integrity. At the successful completion of the training, you will be prepared to enter into your Doula career and be eligible for Doula practice insurance.

Scholarships and Discounted TrainingWe are committed to principles of equity, deep ecology and deep democracy. We offer scholarships for people who feel that this would benefit them in completing their studies; and who may not otherwise have access to doula training.
We also have a number of specific scholarships per year for people: - who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander - who identify under the umbrella of sexual and gender diversity We also have scholarships for people who are committed to supporting: - vulnerable people - refugees and displaced peoples - women/people at risk and/or fleeing violence |
